Re: team v palace
Jesus. What an awful squad, no pace, no penetration, no fuck all. Ah, well off we go to the bestest football stadium in the world to watch us against the terrifying stripey Nigel Ultras

Re: team v palace
IMO TrevB and Rossai seem closest. Not sure Haksabanovic will get a look in but he showed looks to pass and deserves some minutes but I have not seen much of him in the U23 etc. so do not know if he is up to it or not? Play Ayew at our peril as he is not a forward or midfielder. He plays as a poacher instead or Little Pea or not at all IMO

Adrian
Rice Ginge Oggy
Zaba Noble Kouyate Mario Cresswell
Haksabanovic
Hernandez

Re: team v palace
Can only assume Byram is playing to try & match Zaha's pace as Zaba will have rings run round him

Re: team v palace
Would be shocked if Martinez started.

Rossal 10:39 Tue Jan 30
Re: team v palace
He couldnt touch the ball against league 1 defenders id be amazed if Moyes thinks he'll get anything against Sakho and Tomkins

Re: team v palace
He'll do everything he can not to play Hernandez so if there's a chance Antonio can start, he'll be up front alone.

ironsofcanada 10:37 Tue Jan 30
Re: team v palace
I guess it could be Martinez up with Hernandez as well.

Rossal 10:33 Tue Jan 30
Re: team v palace
Be amazed if Ayew is involved, the owners will ban him from playing to get £18M through the door

With 6 changes in mind has to be either Burke or Cullen retaining their places youd imagine

If its Byram that remains itll be a cricket score

Re: team v palace
Also the lineup for the U23s defeat last night was shaken pretty bare.

Re: team v palace
Please let's not break Antonio again.

Re: team v palace
Think Rice would start just ahead of Fonte at this time, think he'll play where Cresswell plays on the left of the back three with Cress moving up to where Masuaku plays, this with Collins in for Burke, not too many disruptions.

May see Byram playing where Kouyate was playing to protect Zab, hope not, too defensive.

Hope its

Adrian
Collins Ogbonna Rice
Zab Kouyate Mario Noble Cresswell
Antonio
Hernandez

Not a bad side is it?

bench, Hart, Fonte, Byram, Ayew? Martinez, Burke, Cullen

Re: team v palace
It could be

Adrian
Collins Obgonna Rice
Zabaleta Cresswell
Kouyate Noble Cullen
Mario
Hernandez

Or Zabeleta in midfield or central defence and Bryam coming in, though he has been less than impressive.

I agree that starting any of the long term injuries is the thinking that has so many long term injuries.

Re: team v palace
by all accounts ayew is off to swansea tomorrow

Trevor B 10:17 Tue Jan 30
Re: team v palace
In that case maybe both are being drafted straight in at the start. Can't see that ending well TBH.

ironsofcanada 10:15 Tue Jan 30
Re: team v palace
Ex saying six changes in the team now and Noble, Kouyate, Rice, Antonio and Fonte back in the squad.

So can't imagine Ayew will be playing.

Trevor B 10:13 Tue Jan 30
Re: team v palace
Yep, but there seems to be rumours of five changes and that's the only team that makes sense (from how Moyes has lined up previously) unless he risks either Fonte or Antonio from the start.

Re: team v palace
The lazy, want away Ayew in Centre-Mid?

I’m glad I’ll be on a train back from LIVERPOOL all evening.

Trevor B 10:08 Tue Jan 30
Re: team v palace
I'd imagine it will be:

Adrian
Collins Ogbonna Rice
Zabaleta Kouyate Noble Ayew Cresswell
Mario
Hernandez

Re: team v palace
Whatever the team is, I’ll be amazed if we come away with anything more than a point.
